Four Days of Festive Style

Your party wardrobe prep is complete.

La Roca Village

Not only is party season an excuse for buying presents and treating yourself to chocolate and an endless supply of mulled wine, but it also comes with a whole host of dressing-up occasions. From celebratory drinks with the girls on Christmas Eve to heading into the great outdoors on Boxing Day, there are plenty of reasons to get out and make the most of the festive period. And that means you’ll need some killer outfits to match. Here’s what to wear on the four most important days in December.

Christmas Eve cocktails

The night before Christmas calls for getting the girls together at your favourite cocktail bar to celebrate. This year, why not dress up for the occasion? Stick to black with the classic festive colours of red and gold, and don’t forget to bring your layers for the journey – a bold coat and scarf are essential.

Christmas Day dinner

Now’s the time to don your Christmas jumper. No, we don’t mean a garish Rudolph print or one covered in tinsel – we’re looking at those ultra-soft cashmere knits you’ll wear forever, and chunky roll-necks in classic shades to team with smart denim or pencil skirts à la Olivia Palermo. Plus, you’ll be able to disguise that extra portion you had at dinner. Win-win

Boxing Day walk

The day after Christmas can often leave spirits a little deflated. So to lift your spirits – and work off that extra mince pie you sneaked in late the night before – why not get out into the great outdoors for a winter walk with a view? You’ll need a strong outerwear piece – opt for a chic cape and plenty of layers underneath to wrap up for all weathers. And a sturdy pair of boots are a must too.

All out for NYE

It’s NYE so sparkle is mandatory – you are the disco ball. Take notes from Sienna Miller and go all out to see in 2018 with floor-skimming shimmer in liquid gold and silver. For those who want to scale it back, the LBD is always a winner. A pair of sky-high heels and a sleek clutch bag are essential NYE companions, and don’t forget to set your alarm for midnight to catch that all-important moment
