Long live the North!

Inspiration for your favourite places

If you don’t have a plan for Easter yet, don’t miss the north! Go towards it. Stroll through its cozy medieval villages, fall in love with the architecture of Girona -a must-go place for the fans of Game of Thrones- or delight yourself with the amazing coves from the Costa Brava.

But these wonderful places deserve wonderful clothes to match. Find them all at La Roca Village! The best outfits for your getaways. Discover other Catalonia secret places here.

Although its difficult access may seem a handicap to visit this town, when you arrive you discover that the effort has been worthwhile. A quiet village that has that je ne sais quoi that transmits inner peace. Perhaps it is because of its white houses, the wobbling of the boats that are on the shore, its postcard landscape or its exquisite suquet de peix (fish soup) that make us not be surprised when Salvador Dalí called it the best town in the world. In fact, from 1930 to 1982, the artist usually worked there, in what is now his House-Museum -although it belongs to the town of Portlligat, you can get there quietly walking from Cadaqués-. For these reasons and for many, Cadaqués is also one of the favorite villages of the influencer Marina Cotanda who always accompanies her visits to this Empordà population with an outfit from La Roca Village.

Rocambolesc icre cream shop

Carrer de Santa Clara, 50, Girona

Any production with the seal of the Roca brothers is guaranteed success. As is also Rocambolesc, the signature ice cream shop of the little brother who has always been an inveterate fan of this product. Right in the commercial center of Girona is this fantastic space halfway between 'Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory' and the first ice cream carts. If the space is unusual, experiencing the frozen desserts of the creative minds of the sweet team of Celler de Can Roca is even more so. An excellent raw material worked with classic and avant-garde techniques gives rise to creations that will leave you frozen.

Our favorite? The panet with ice cream inside.

La Catedral de Santa Maria de Girona

Plaça de la Catedral, s/n

Built between the 11th and 18th centuries, this cathedral is a congregation of different architectural styles: from the Romanesque style of the cloister and the Charlemagne tower, to the baroque that is displayed on its well-known façade and staircase. And we bet it will look familiar to some of you, because it has appeared in Game of Thrones. So put on some good sneakers to go up to the top as influencer Laura Sánchez has done and mix it with a full color look to make contrast with the stone that the Lannister also stepped on.
